The Start Smart program changes the way young people learn about money. It makes money management interactive and engaging through a series of free workshops and online resources. Start Smart consulted with specialists in primary education, cognitive development, instructional design and financial literacy to make sure children are equipped to know how to manage their money.
Re was approached to develop a visual world for Start Smart to help engage both students and teachers. Working with paper artist Benja Harney aka Paperform on a series of lunch bag scenes to bring the program to life. These paper crafted scenes were used across Web, interactive tools, brochures and wall charts. The colours created an easily recognisable architecture, without showing preference for any age group.
